Rapid R53 hand tacker. Lightweight and practical tacker for textiles and decorative fabrics
The Rapid R53 hand tacker is a lightweight and user-friendly hand tacker for quickly fastening textiles, fabric, Deco Molton, flannel, leather, labels, foil and other thin materials to wood and similar surfaces. Thanks to its compact design and simple operation, the R53 is ideal for assembly, decoration and upholstery work.
The Rapid R53 offers a quick and practical solution for attaching Deco Molton and other event textiles. The tacker is fully mechanical and therefore requires no battery, electricity or compressed air. Simply insert the staples and you’re ready to go.
Ideal for Deco Molton, flannel and event textiles
When dressing stages, exhibition stands, sets and event venues, textiles are often attached directly to wooden frames or structures. With the Rapid R53 hand tacker, this can be done quickly and neatly.
The R53 uses Rapid No. 53 fine-wire staples. These staples have a fine wire and are therefore particularly suitable for textiles. The thin staple ensures a secure fastening whilst minimising visibility and damage to the fabric.
This makes the combination of the Rapid R53 and type 53 staples ideal for Deco Molton, flannel and other decorative fabrics.
Suitable for Rapid type 53 rivets
The Rapid R53 is suitable for Rapid No. 53 fine-wire rivets ranging from 4 to 10 mm. This allows the length of the rivet to be tailored to the material and the substrate.
Shorter staples are suitable for thin materials and light-duty applications. A longer staple can be used, for example, when multiple layers of fabric need to be secured or when XTRA a firm hold in the substrate is required.
Lightweight and easy to use
A key advantage of the Rapid R53 is its low weight and compact size. This makes the hand tacker comfortable to use for tasks involving the placement of many staples in quick succession.
The ergonomic handle ensures a secure grip and makes the R53 suitable for both occasional and regular use. Thanks to its compact size, the tacker also takes up very little space in a toolbox or assembly case.
Versatile
As well as securing event textiles, the Rapid R53 can be used for a wide range of light assembly and decoration tasks. These include attaching fabric to wooden panels, upholstery work, set construction, film, labels and other thin materials.
This makes the R53 a practical hand tacker for event professionals, stand builders, set builders, upholsterers and other users who regularly work with textiles.
